The first ever SF Creators Project welcomed attendees with Origin a sound and light synchronized 40-foot by 40-foot LED cube from United Visual Artists and that was only the beginning…
The Herbst Pavilion at Fort Mason Center show cased visual/interactive/technology driven art exhibits including Chris Milk’s The Treachery Of Sanctuary: a three piece installation that invited people to turn their projected silhouette into birds in flight or otherwise. Next door The Festival Pavilion was robust with music all day and night on Saturday. Hundred in the Hands and Zola Jesus are just two of the acts that were part this festival which also included performances by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, LCD Sound System’s James Murphy plus a slew of others far too many to name.
Hopefully this free event returns to the Bay Area because there was so much neat stuff it was impossible to see it all!
